In my country there are many poor yet capable people and families. They may be poor in finance, but rich in talents, potential and desire to come out of poverty. I feel it my responsibility to do what I can to help them fulfill their dreams. I’m also a passionate about Open Source and want to promote it in the Church and Social sector. In three years, I aim to extend my services to support 5 million poor clients.

I personally handle technical and non-technical aspects with good advice from a couple of mentors. I also have a sales person and I hire developers on contract to assist me on projects.

17 years programming experience, 14 years web development and Linux administration experience. 10 years MySQL DBMS and other database experience.

Future Goals & Strategy for Mifos

I’m already assisting on the mailing lists and involving in trainings and user meetups. I plan to release to the community a automated Mifos SMS bridge which can send SMS to any mobile number in India including DND (Do not disturb) and NDNC (National Do not Call) numbers. More will come later.
